Rav Yehuda Ashlag

Rav Yehuda Ashlag: (1885—1954)  “Yehuda Ashlag or Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ha-Levi Ashlag was also known as Baal Ha-Sulam. He was an Orthodox rabbi and Kabbalist. Ashlag’s lasting legacy has been to contemporize two ancient texts, the Zohar and the Tree of Life. His work has laid the foundation for a Kabbalah renaissance making these ancient texts accessible to a wider audience. Ashlag saw himself in a missionary role to bring Kabbalah to the world. His two main disciples were his sons Baruch Shalom and Rabbi Yehuda Brandwein, who continued his vision of spreading Kabbalah teaching around the world.”  -Quote from spiritualwarriorstoday.com

Rav Ashlag took the complex and enigmatic teachings of The Ari’s Kabbalah and made them more accessible to the modern man and her practical daily life.
